Dr. Jennifer DiMascio
Dr. Jennifer DiMascio graduated from Ross University after completing her clinical year at The Ohio State University in 2010. Following graduation she went on to receive further training in small animal medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York City, one of the largest private practice specialty hospitals in the country. Following her internship she worked as an emergency clinician at Cornell Veterinary Specialists in Stamford, CT and as a general practitioner in a busy small animal hospital in New York City. Throughout these experiences Dr. DiMascio was repeatedly drawn to alternative methods for treating her patients when conventional methods either failed or did not provide long-term results. This passion brought her back to the Animal Medical Center where she worked most recently as a staff doctor in the Integrative Medicine and Rehabilitation Department. Dr. DiMascio is certified in physical rehabilitation through The Canine Rehabilitation Institute and a certified veterinary acupuncturist through the Chi Institute. Dr. DiMascio's special interests include neurorehabilitation, regenerative medicine, geriatric care and the use of orthotics and prosthetics to help patients regain function and mobility. Her greatest joy is improving her patient’s mobility and quality of life with a combination of acupuncture and rehabilitation therapies. Dr. DiMascio grew up in Columbus, OH but spent most of her adult life in New York City. She recently relocated to the Bay Area and is enjoying exploring all that it has to offer with her husband, young daughter and lab/hound mix Ottley.
